How to Disable activity history on Windows 11

Activity history on Windows 11 keeps track of various actions you perform on your computer, such as apps and services used, websites visited, and files opened. While this feature was originally designed for Timeline on Windows 10, it continues to collect your activities on Windows 11 for system improvement purposes.

If you prefer to clear and delete your activity history on Windows 11, follow these steps:

    Step 01: Open Settings:

    • Click on the Start button and select "Settings."

Step 02: Access Privacy & Security Settings:

    • In the Settings app, navigate to "Privacy & security."

Step 03: Navigate to Activity History:

    • Under Privacy & security, click on "Activity history."

    Step 04: Disable Activity History:

    • Find the option labeled "Store my activity history on this device."
    • Toggle off the switch to disable activity history storage.

By completing these steps, the activity history feature will be disabled on your Windows 11 computer, ensuring that your activities are no longer tracked or stored.
